Veritas Lake Martin operates on the traditional American school calendar with classes beginning in August and ending in May.  There breaks and holidays observed throughout the school year.  

2018-2019 School Calendar

 

Veritas Lake Martin utilizes a block schedule for instruction.  Instruction is grouped together on specific days to maximize learning opportunities. In Grammar and Logic students participate in specific morning and afternoon routines to ensure organization and retention.  The basic schedule for Grammar and Logic students is below-

Monday

AM: Math and/or Science

PM: Science labs, STEM projects or other Electives

Tuesday

AM: Math and/or Science (opposite of Monday)

PM: Science labs, STEM projects or other Electives

Wednesday

AM: Chapel and Humanities Day 1

PM: Humanities Day 1 and Tea Time

Thursday

AM: Humanities Day 2 and/or Elective

PM: Humanities Day 2 and/or Elective

Friday

AM: Weekly Reflections and Creative Expressions

PM: Creative Expressions

Rhetoric students may participate in a wider variety in of learning opportunities including online, dual enrollment, and Veritas K-12 taught courses.  For that reason the Rhetoric schedule is a bit more simplified.  See below-

Monday- Tuesday

Math, Science, Labs, STEMS, CCCASL or Electives

Wednesday- Thursday

AM: Chapel and Humanities

*Rhetoric student participate in Tea Time on Wednesdays

Friday
